• Assembling the Carri Chef 2

  • Take the Carri Chef 2 out of the box

  • Check if all parts & accessoires are in the box

  • Attach the dome handle to the dome

  • Attach the thermometer to the dome

  • Put the legs in the bottom of the burner pan and turn the mounting ring to fix them

  • Place the utility tray between the legs

  • Put the fat pan on the burner pan

  • Put the surface of your choice on top of the fat pan

  • You can put the dome over the surface to cook your dish

• Fitting the gas supply

  • Remove the black protection piece from the valve

  • Install the tailpiece by turning it anti-clockwise and fix it with a suitable spanner

  • Push an approved hose onto the valve until it is properly seated

  • Attach a suitable low pressure regulator at the other end

  • Make sure the valves are all in OFF position by turning them clockwise to their stop

  • Screw the regulator onto the gas container until it is fully engaged (hand-tighten only)

• Using the Carri Chef 2

  • Open the valve on your regulator to ensure the flow of gas

  • Push in and turn the control knob in an anti-clockwise direction until you hear a 'click'

  • Adjust the flame intensity to the desired level by turning the control knob

  • Start cooking or grilling on your Carri Chef 2

  • When you use the Carri Chef 2 in windy conditions, use the dome as a windshield

  • After using first close the valve on the gas container and wait for the flame to extinguish

  • Close the valve on the Carri Chef 2 by pushing in and turning the control knob fully clockwise

• Detecting and stopping a leak

  • If there is a leak on your appliance (you smell gas), immediately close the control knob on the gas cylinder

  • Smear the joints with soapy water. If a bubble or bubbles form then there is a gas leak. Immediately turn off the gas

  • Check that all connections are properly fitted

  • Re-check with soapy water

  • If the gas leak persists, return the product to your CADAC dealer for inspection / repair

• Storing and carrying the Carri Chef 2

  • Open up the main compartment of the carry bag

  • Put the burner pan, the fat pan and the pot stand in the main compartment

  • Put the dome and utility tray into the front part of the carry bag

  • Put the legs behind the support straps on the back of the carry bag

  • Put the surfaces into their respective bags

  • Store the surface bags behind the straps on the back of the carry bag

  • Your Carri Chef 2 bag is now ready for carrying

• Assembling the Carri Chef 12

  • Take the Carri Chef 2 out of the box

  • Check if all parts & accessoires are in the box

  • Attach the dome handle to the dome

  • Attach the thermometer to the dome

  • Put the legs in the bottom of the burner pan and turn the mounting ring to fix them

  • Place the utility tray between the legs

  • Put the fat pan on the burner pan

  • Put the surface of your choice on top of the fat pan

  • You can put the dome over the surface to cook your dish
